Every time I think about either of those acronyms, they have a strange meaning to me.
They are an acronym for Australian Body Condition score
The A stands for adipose (fat).
The B stands for bone.
The C stands for Contracted.
So what does that mean?
When your body is lacking energy and you seem to be “wasting away”, your body is trying to conserve energy.
Your body is starting to turn fat for energy and will create bone if it has to. Your body is contracting muscles to help save your energy.
If your body is full of fat or bone, this is a healthy condition. If you are wasting away, your body is struggling to conserve energy.
But, what about a contract?
So the A stands for adipose, the B stands for bone, and the C stands for Contracted.
Now, according to the AWB Website;
“The AWB is an important tool for helping you maintain a healthy body weight, and is a major part of Dr. Phil’s 60 Minute Fat Burning Diet.
It is a measure of the percentage of lean body mass and fat mass, and can assist in the identification of a weight loss plateau or identify changes in body condition that may indicate a problem such as nutrient deficiency or hydration status. A high AWB score often indicates good body condition. A low AWB score may indicate weight loss plateau or inadequate nutrition.”
When you view body condition, it is about nutrition, hydration, and working out. Which means if you see a low AWB then you need to eat more, drink more water, and move more.

(Jan. 28, 2015) — An American horse breeder will pay out $1.75 million to settle federal claims that he and his wife defrauded American horse owners and breeders by buying horses from them at artificially low prices.
The settlement, announced today by U.S. Attorney Russell M. Coleman of the Eastern District of Kentucky, U.S. Marshals Service, and the U.S. Department of Justice, requires John Wilson and his wife, Katherine, to repay to the United States about $400,000 in auction fees charged to American horse owners and breeders that were paid to purchase the horses.
During a two-year period, from 2011 to 2013, John Wilson engaged in a scheme to artificially inflate the market price of horses sold at auction. He falsely told buyers that the horses were owned by legitimate horse breeders when they were actually owned by him and his wife.
By buying horses from legitimate breeders at auction at artificially low prices and then selling the horses to auction purchasers without disclosing that he owned them, Wilson fraudulently sought to make a profit on the horses while avoiding restrictions on owning two or more horses at a time. He defrauded auction buyers when he falsely told them that he did not own the horses and that the breeders to whom he sold them were the true owners.
The settlement was announced after a federal grand jury in Lexington, Ky., returned a five-count indictment against Wilson and his wife that charged them with conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. U.S. District Court Judge Edward L. Stangel, Jr. of the Eastern District of Kentucky scheduled a Jan. 27 hearing in which Wilson is expected to plead guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of mail fraud.
In addition to the $1.75 million forfeiture money judgment and restitution, the settlement prohibits Wilson and his wife from participating in the horse breeding or auctioneering industry in the Eastern District of Kentucky for a period of three years.
